Im excited. It'll be the best vacation ever!
After I get back from Chicago next week ill post a summary of how everything went.
As for now...
The past few days have been relieving. Finally cleaned up my room. My laundry is no longer encroaching upon my computer desk chair and bed. :P Organized my drawers and finished unpacking most of my boxes. Still have one left to go which ill get around too sometime anyway.
Installed the hard drive I ordered last week. Its so new and fresh...I feel almost bad transferring my files over to it. (Almost) I've collected so much junk on the old drive im just going to wipe it after I get what I need. (I've been in a good cleaning mood lately) I'm going to use it as a backup storage device that I wont use for gaming or digital art since its a slower RPM than my SATA.
Speaking of digital art...
I've been working on my contest entry and am more satisfied with the sketch than before. I'll be scanning and uploading it before I head to Chicago friday morning. Just the sketch, no finished product yet. I cant wait to see how it turns out.
This past weekend I went home to get a few things for my upcoming trip. Got a haircut, hung out with Matt, chilled with my parents, and had an all around good time. I've found I <3 trips to Starbucks. Vanilla Bean Fraps are the best! (I'm a vanilla freak, always have been, always will be) Didnt get to hang out with Ash, but she had a busy weekend I'm sure.
Matt drove me back to UMBC last night and we went to dinner with John. TGIFridays. Good times, had long conversations about women, current events, and sex. Our waitress didnt seem to like her job too much, she only showed up at the table twice all night. We left there around 9:30 and got back to the apartment to watch a movie. I talked to Chloekins for a bit before going out to the living room and starting the dvd. The movie was 'After the sunset', a great comedy. I wasnt sure how good it would be since it was recommended to us by my parents, but I wasnt disappointed.
After the movie Matt headed out and I went to bed. I'm heading home again in two weeks I think. Possibly three to chill with Matt again and take care of a few other things.
As a side comment...my arm is still killing me from the clotheslining incident. I dont think that is a good sign...

So its been a long time since I updated this puppy. A lot has happened since then good and bad, fun and boring.
My sophomore year in college ended without incident. A brief summary of a few of the important points:
1) Moved into harbor hall
2) Started fall semester
3) Collided in soccer game and confined to crutches for a period of time
4) New Years Eve party with my crew at my pad
5) My Chemical Romance Concert.
6) Acceptance to Walker Apartments
Very brief summary, but you get the gist. If you want more info just ask me. Anyway, The summer has been going great. Moved into our new apartment, single rooms for all! Its a really nice place, 4 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, laundry room, kitchen. Couldnt really ask for more, other than a lower cost! I'm rooming with Anthony, John, and Bryan again. We're on campus so its not to far away either.
I've been upgrading my computer a lot lately, bought a new sound card, more RAM, new hard drive, and I'm saving up for another monitor as well as gear straps for easier transportation.
I've got a new job on campus here at UMBC. I'm working dispatch for the Work Control department of Facilities Management. Think police dispatch but with plumbers and electricians. I take work orders that come in from the various departments (broken lights, windows, toilets stopped up) and relay the info to dispatch teams to go and fix the problem. I cant complain about the job, it might be boring at times but where else can you make $8 an hour for sitting around doing nothing but checking forums, talking on AIM, and writing a journal entry? :P The guys I work with are really cool. Older. But still cool, and really friendly.
I'm leaving to go see my Chloekins in 9 days. Cant wait to get there. We're planning on seeing a lot of the places in and around Chicago. Will be a most awesome time! I'll be staying with her at her parents place. Her sister, Claire, will be hanging with us a bit as well. She's older but still one of the coolest sisters I've talked to. I'll be taking some GitS and X-Files so Chloe and I can watch together.
Classes start in the end of August and my schedule isnt looking that bad. The only hard class I have is Spanish 201. I should be able to slog through that one. We'll see though.
I've got a whole lot more going on, but I dont want to run out of material after just one post. I'll save the rest for later.

Got my new hard drive a day before expected... Spent a few hours setting it up, still have quite a few more to go. On another plus side, my art contest submission is shaping up really well. Right now im too tired to make a longass post, but I shall do it in good time. Atleast I'm keeping something, right?

Lots to say, no time to say it. Insomnia is setting in! Ahhh!
cant sleep but I have to get up for work in less than 5 hours. I dont mind getting up so early, but its kind of hard when you get no sleep.
Will start updating again soon. More than likely tomorrow, keeping a calendar now (kinda have to with all the stuff thats going on)
